The World Is Round
: Interesting critique of Thomas Friedman's globalization and nationalism, with connections to Karl Marx, the fall of the Soviet Union, and more. "Globalization makes the world smaller. It may also make itóor sections of itóricher. It does not make it more peaceful, or more liberal. Least of all does it make it flat. .. As it has done in the past, globalization is throwing up dilemmas that have no satisfactory solution.
