SBC offers lower-cost VoIP: "SBC rolled out the new VoIP service to 18 U.S. metro areas, including Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago, in its 13-state service region and plans to serve 30 metro markets, including New York and Philadelphia, by the end of the year, said Michael Coe, an SBC spokesman.
