Fuel Cell Today - Opening doors to fuel cells commercialisation
: "The University of La Verne's chemistry department and Clean Fuel Generation, LLC unveiled a new, innovative propane fuel cell system yesterday. The first of its kind, the FCS is significant because it creates up to 20 kilowatts of electric power, and is intended initially to power recreational vehicles" where propane use is common. The university unveiled a methanol system two years ago. It says it will take "US$5-6 million to get the project to the final stage of pre-commercial prototype." 12:45:40 PM
