Energy Foundation offset emissions: "The Energy Foundation has offset 100 percent of its global warming emissions by supporting new renewable energy in the Pacific Northwest. The Foundation is the first non-profit organization to be certified a "Climate Cool" enterprise by the Climate Neutral Network, meaning it has a zero net impact on the earth's climate. .. The Energy Foundation’s domestic operations create 504 tons of CO2e emissions annually. Air travel is responsible for 80 percent of the Energy Foundation’s emissions, natural gas consumption 15 percent, employee commuting four percent and electricity consumption one percent.
