Uganda Power Sector Gets More Attractive
: "The African Development Bank (ADB) has committed a grant of US$2m (about sh3.6b) on a study to evaluate the country's potential in renewable and sustainable sources of energy for rural areas. This comes hardly a month after parliament approved a US$375m credit from the World Bank for lending out on concessional terms to investors in rural electrification." The Uganda Photovoltaic Pilot Project for Rural Electrification is a frequently cited existing program. 3:01:41 PM
